Rusk County Community Foundation and Rusk Chamber of Commerce Announce Volunteer of the Year
Jessica Wiles, a lifelong resident of Rusk County, embodies the true spirit of public service and honesty, consistently dedicating herself to the betterment of our community. Jessica’s commitment to service is evident through her tireless efforts on the local Rusk County Fair Board. As a volunteer, she has played a pivotal role in leading a dedicated team, resulting in the remarkable success of the Rusk County Fair. Her leadership has inspired others to join in her mission of caring for our community and fostering a spirit of camaraderie.
One shining example of Jessica’s dedication is her year-round work on our PRCA Rodeo. From securing sponsors to meticulously preparing the grounds, her leadership ensures that each August, our community enjoys an unforgettable weekend of entertainment.
Beyond her involvement with the fair, Jessica also services as a co-leader of the Cloverland 4-H Club, further demonstrating her passion for empowering and education our youth,
Jessica’s remarkable skills, including her strong work ethic, passion, attentive listening, and adept problem-solving abilities, have undoubtedly contributed to her outstanding leadership. Her unwavering commitment to our community serves as an inspiration to us all.
The RCCF has designed Jessica to award a $1000 from the Rusk County Community Foundation to non- profit organizations in Rusk County. Jessica has chosen to give $500 to the Rusk County Youth Council and $500 to the Cloverland 4-H Club.
