The Shane Jenness Fund was established in 2010 by Al Miller and Richard LaBelle, former Bruce residents currently living in New Mexico. The fund was started to celebrate an amazing young man, Shane Jenness, who brings joy to all who meet him. Al and Richard want the fund to continue to grow and give back to those in need in our community to honor Shane’s amazing life and his wonderful parents.
The Shane Jenness Fund provides opportunities and materials to enrich the lives of those with special needs in Rusk County. The Fund approves grants for a variety of items including therapy, equipment, and costs associated with health care emergencies to assist disabled youth in our area. Insurance does not cover many items that would benefit this population.
