Enriching Our Communities Forever

Economic Development Fund For Rusk County

There are thriving, vibrant communities in Rusk County because of people just like you. They’re working to revitalize Main Streets and commercial districts, open businesses, and create welcoming shared spaces. The Ladysmith Community Industrial Development Corporation (“IDC”) is helping them make it happen. The IDC’s primary goal is to support Rusk County’s economic development.

Support from the Rusk County Economic Development Fund, a Fund of the Rusk County Community Foundation, will help the IDC advance its goal. This Fund promotes economic development that enhances area communities, supports business development, and helps to grow a talented workforce by strengthening and creating opportunities to drive progress.

Grant and Loan Opportunities:

Disbursements from the Rusk County Economic Development Fund support grants and loan opportunities that promote economic development by directly supporting new and small businesses as well as by promoting a healthy environment for economic growth through community enhancements. Whether you’re a community member, business or organization, if you have a vision for helping Rusk County thrive economically, IDC might be able to help you bring it to life.  For more information, write to ladysmithidc@gmail.com

Depending on each applicant’s unique situation, support from this Fund may come in the form of grants or zero-interest loans. All loan repayments will be returned to the Fund so they can help Rusk County thrive for generations to come.

Donations:

Donations to the Fund are welcome to support and grow IDC’s granting opportunities for Rusk County. You can donate online or send a check to:
